For our number one, a win-win situation was created between Ziegler and our cone pickers. Yes, you read that correctly: our wild cherries are collected by cone pickers in southern Germany. They need the stones of the fruit to secure their future - and we distill the sweet shell to let it mature for five years to make the best wild cherry brandy.
